What is Interaction Design?
...creating a dialogue between a person and a "thing" in the artificial world. The thing could be anything: software, foodcourt stand, a blender. The tricky part here is that there is no way you can design an experience since people are weird and complex beings.
It's all about enhancing user experiences, making moments more meaningful, making life less mundane, making users think, reflect and talk.
What I Do
I’m currently a student under the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University. When I first moved to Vancouver, I never did know what I was getting into but somehow all my years of going to school led me to discover my passion for Interaction Design.
Under my faculty, students are taught a wide range of skills. The ones that I’m pretty good at are graphic communication, information modelling, physical prototyping, illustration and ethnographic research. Along the way I’ve dabbled in video and sound editing, 3d modelling and webdesign.
